ABB is looking for a Functional Safety Lead Engineer in Plzen, Czechia. This role involves leading engineering activities, acting as a design authority, and ensuring functional safety within the Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Pharma industries. Ansvarsområden
- Act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of engineering disciplines within projects.
- Act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline.
- Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to resolve issues.
- Coach project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines.
- Apply design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects.
Krav
- Electrical education (secondary grade minimum).
- Advanced knowledge of German language.
- Experience in automation.
- Leadership experience of project team(s).
- Willingness to travel abroad.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- IEC61508, IEC61511, Machinery Safety Standards & SISTEMA, exSILentia or similar Tools knowledge are considered as advantage.
- Any other international language is considered as advantage.
