ABB is seeking an FP&A Analyst in Bangalore, India, to perform financial performance analysis, month-end closing activities, and MIS reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting with up to 4 years of experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

Perform analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast.
Conduct month-end closing activities and generate MIS reports.
Analyze drivers of financial performance with other financial professionals.
Analyze overhead under/over absorption, indicating root cause (True up/True down of cost).
Perform cost/benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC.
Prepare ad-hoc reports as per business/function requests.
Support preparation of financial reporting, business planning & forecasting.
Support audits.
Validate accuracy of financial data and business information through reconciliation and exception review.
Optimize performance by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
Identify areas for process/report standardization across countries, divisions, and business units.
Ensure processes and controls are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements.
Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future audits and reviews.
Maintain SOPs for all activities performed.

Krav

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
Up to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough/detail-oriented approach.
Strong communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Experience with MS Office.
Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries.
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality.
