Polismyndigheten (the Police Authority) is seeking a Fingerprint Forensics Expert for the National Forensic Centre (NFC) in Linköping. This full-time role involves analyzing and comparing fingerprints, with extensive internal training provided. The position contributes to improving safety and reducing crime in Sweden.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze and compare fingerprints to link crime scene traces to individuals.
  • Perform investigations primarily using computer support.
  • Have direct contact with clients within the justice system.
  • Potentially testify in court.
  • Engage in environmental monitoring nationally and internationally.
  • Participate in change management and continuous business development.
  • May perform on-call duties.

Krav

  • Academic degree at bachelor's level in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish language, spoken and written (equivalent to CEFR C1).
  • Good knowledge of English language, spoken and written (equivalent to CEFR B2 reading, B1 speaking, writing, listening).
  • Good system and IT skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's, magister, or civil engineer degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with ISO-certified quality work.
  • Several years of work experience.
  • Familiarity with digital work.
