As a Food Service and Dishwasher Associate at IKEA, you will be responsible for preparing food items, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This part-time role requires adherence to food safety standards and contributes to the overall operational excellence of IKEA Food.

Ansvarsområden

  • Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
  • Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately.
  • Maintain equipment operation through adherence to operating guidelines and troubleshooting breakdowns.
  • Conduct preventive and cleaning maintenance for equipment.
  • Maintain a clean supply of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and trays.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  • Manage the Swedish Food Market, overseeing merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and cleaning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely price communication across all food solutions.
  • Maintain supply rotation and stocking, adhering to First In, First Out (FIFO) and expiration dates.
  • Implement IKEA Food policies and procedures for goods receiving and monthly inventory.
  • Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Contribute to an inclusive work environment embracing diversity.

Krav

  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred.
