I korthet
As an expert in fluid-dynamic and thermal simulations, you will drive product optimization through advanced modeling and machine learning techniques within the CAE team. You will collaborate with global product development teams, mentor junior colleagues, and stay updated on the state-of-the-art in fluid dynamics and emerging ML techniques. The role is hybrid, based in Wilrijk, Belgium.
Ansvarsområden
- Drive product optimization through advanced fluid-dynamic and thermal simulations.
- Collaborate closely with global product development teams to identify simulation opportunities.
- Define and integrate effective simulation strategies into the development cycle.
- Develop the competence domain by staying up-to-date with fluid-dynamic, thermal analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Identify opportunities to enhance models and tools, translate into roadmaps, and contribute to execution.
- Mentor junior colleagues and communicate simulation capabilities/limitations to stakeholders worldwide.
Krav
- Master of Engineering Science or Master of Science.
- PhD or research experience in the domain.
- Strong experience with fluid dynamics and CFD simulations (must-have).
- Experience with machine-learning techniques.
- Experience with programming.
- Experience with flow and/or thermal measurements.
- Passion for technical challenges and strong interest in research.
- Problem-solving and creative mindset.
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal communication.
- Critical attitude and attention to detail.
