Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst for its FOAA OpEx team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves month-end closing, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and reporting. The position requires a CA qualification and strong skills in Excel, SQL, Oracle, and Blackline, with experience in process improvement.
Ansvarsområden
- Perform month-end closing activities for multiple sub ledgers.
- Manage manual journals, pre-reconciliations, and other analyses.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
- Conduct balance sheet analysis and reporting.
- Support management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies.
- Promote systems and process development within the department for efficiency and control improvements.
Krav
- CA qualification is a requirement.
- 0-4 years of post-qualification experience in Month-end closing of Books of accounts, working on various Sub-ledgers, Accounting Knowledge, Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities.
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions.
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Prior experience in Retail or Market Place or Financial Retail Services is recommended.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
- Zeal towards operational excellence/process improvement & simplifications.
- Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures.
- Advanced level Excel and knowledge of SQL will be preferred.
- Experience of Oracle and Blackline Reconciliation tool.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (Lean, etc.) preferred.
- Strong team skills and Self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly energetic.
- Good communication skills.
- Good articulation skill.
- Well versed with excel.
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL.
