Amazon is seeking a Finance Analyst for its Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team in Karnataka, India. This role focuses on supporting central accounting and tax compliance, including month-end activities, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and process improvements.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform/Support month-end activities including closing of sub-ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting, and balance sheet account analysis.
  • Prepare month-end Flux analysis for all P&L and Balance sheet accounts and share with Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in accounting and apply this in-depth knowledge to recognize and resolve complex and unique issues.
  • Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and work on process improvements.
  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations (with GST Tax returns/sub-ledger reports) and take necessary action upon issues.
  • Interact closely with auditors on audit-related queries.
  • Responsible for GRC compliance, internal control, and alignment of improvements/changes with Stakeholders.
  • Perform and support new business/system launches including UAT of accounting entries and financial reporting.

Krav

  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills.
