Emerson is looking for a Financial Analyst in Houston, TX, to join their Global HQ Finance department. This role involves monthly financial reporting, quarterly submissions, annual forecasting, and providing ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership decisions. The position also includes driving automation initiatives in financial reporting procedures.

Ansvarsområden

  • Consolidate and own weekly KPI reporting.
  • Run systemic reports from PowerBI, Oracle & Oracle EPM, HFM, or other business systems.
  • Create, analyze, and review ad-hoc management inquiries of key financial metrics for decision support.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to the Isolation Valves Financial Planning Cycle.
  • Consolidate world areas quarterly and annual supplemental required reporting.
  • Drive and implement automation opportunities in regular procedures.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas during preparation of financial information.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar required.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance related role.
  • Strong data-processing experience with Microsoft Office (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts, macros, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate persistence, perseverance, and flexibility.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Exposure to ERP systems preferred, but not required (familiarity with Oracle/SAP a plus).
  • Knowledge of PowerBI or similar enterprise reporting tools preferred.
  • HFM knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar enterprise reporting tools to build interactive, scalable dashboards.
