Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the Finance as a Service (FaaS) team in Bengaluru. This critical role ensures smooth accounting processes, accuracy, and efficiency, working closely with various teams to support month-end close, drive operational excellence, and uphold financial control standards. The candidate will be responsible for financial close, reporting, P&L analysis, forecasting, and process improvement.

Ansvarsområden

Responsible for financial close and performing related reporting, accruals.
Support monthly P&L analysis, perform financial reporting and forecasts.
Use financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets.
Perform headcount reporting, planning and forecasting.
Establish, measure and monitor weekly KPI metric discussions for new and/or existing business initiatives and operational performance.
Assist in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business team.
Perform ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling.
Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Facilitate business reviews with data analysis.
Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups.
Work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
Partner with stakeholders to develop strategic multi-year or long term operating plans.
Challenge processes, identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
Identify incomplete or inaccurate data, root cause of data issues, escalate discrepancies, fix data where possible or partner to deliver a solution.

Krav

8+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members experience

Önskade kvalifikationer

6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
MBA, or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
