Alfa Laval is seeking a Financial Data Analyst and Controller for the MESEA region to analyze financial information, manage budgets and forecasts, and support sales and cost controlling. This role involves querying data, building reports, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable insights from financial and sales data warehouses.
Ansvarsområden
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and Service operations Costing Update.
- Maintain and develop Analytics and FC tools, including sales and financial databases.
- Perform regular analysis of business performance and variances in the MESEA region, including cost analysis and maintenance of cost allocation.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from business units and other users of financial data.
- Contribute to monthly and year-end closings.
- Ensure a second level of quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Prepare quarterly and year-end local and ad hoc data for corporate management.
- Extract, clean, and transform financial data from various internal systems and databases.
- Build, maintain, and optimize self-service dashboards for finance stakeholders, and resolve data mapping issues between source systems.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering to resolve data quality issues and improve data pipelines.
- Act as a data ambassador to help stakeholders self-serve.
- Drive continuous improvement of business processes and ensure suitable financial performance measurement (KPI).
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
Krav
- BA, preferably master’s degree.
- Technical proficiency managing databases, data analytics tools and some programming.
- Knowledge and experience of working with databases and analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of and experience working with businesses and financial data flows and processes.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with strict deadlines with high data quality.
- Business Acumen.
