The Finance Analyst II, APAC ITX team in Bengaluru & Hyderabad, India, will ensure controlled accounting processes and smooth global book closing. Responsibilities include financial reporting, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, variance analysis, and implementing financial controls, while also driving process improvements and innovation.
Ansvarsområden
- Own financial reporting and complete month-end close for VAT, Tax or other accounting functions.
- Provide support and direction for process or problem resolution.
- Ensure all processes are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Understand industry best practices and set benchmarks for quality.
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place.
- Manage department’s response to internal and external audit requirements and ensure compliance with Sox requirements.
- Manage complex accounting issues and implement process controls.
- Analyze complex datasets and provide business judgments.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and build partnerships.
- Work with remote teams in multiple geos.
- Work with cross-functional systems and drive process improvement initiatives.
Krav
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
