Securitas is looking for a Field Training Officer to be the primary training resource for a data-center campus in Johannesburg, South Africa. This hybrid role involves onboarding, certifying new security personnel, tracking training completion, promoting safety awareness, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The officer will also assist with audits and identify areas for security program improvement.

Ansvarsområden

Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and sustainment training.
Train and certify new security personnel and maintain required training documentation.
Conduct in-person training with security personnel in the field.
Track training completion and recommend schedules based on needs.
Prioritize safety awareness and champion safety initiatives.
Coordinate with local leadership and headquarters training team to develop and roll out site plans.
Ensure all site personnel adhere to policies and standard operating procedures.
Assist with audit compliance related to training.
Conduct recurring audits and submit critical information to campus leadership.
Identify security shortfalls and suggest improvements to the security program.
Evaluate and escalate potential safety issues within the facility.
Follow safe work practices and company policies and procedures related to job safety.

Krav

Grade 12/Matric.
Degree/Diploma in Training/Business Management.
4 or more years of experience in the security industry and/or business management.
Psira Grade A.
2 years of training experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Able to travel as required, up to 50% of the time, occasionally with limited notice.
