ASSA ABLOY Canada is seeking a Field Support Technician based in Vaughan, Ontario, to support mechanical and electromechanical products across Central and Eastern Canada. The role involves providing technical assistance via calls, email, and chat, troubleshooting hardware issues, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution and communication.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support mechanical and electromechanical products.
  • Answer customer inquiries via calls, emails, and chat.
  • Provide accurate and timely support to customer requests.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and product usage with end-users.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues.
  • Utilize the CRM system for tracking issues and problem resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, quality, engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resources and follow up.
  • Analyze requests for return to ensure validity.
  • Use lab equipment to determine root cause of issues.
  • Provide training to sales, customer service, and customers.
  • Visit customer sites with Technical Service staff.
  • Communicate product changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and industry changes.
  • Understand competitive products and ASSA ABLOY's product advantages.
  • Participate in training and factory visits.
  • Support product sales and assist with product selection.

Krav

  • A bachelor’s degree or related technical diploma or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in the architectural industry or related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand issues quickly and assess solutions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, utilizing empathy and understanding.
  • Flexibility in moving between systems and tasks.
  • Ability to act independently, take initiative, multi-task, and drive tasks to resolution.
  • Proven ability to deal with a high level of confidentiality.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • French Bilingual language skills are an asset.
