I korthet

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform thermographic and ultrasonic inspections on electrical equipment at customer sites. This role requires extensive travel across Poland and the EU, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to electrical safety. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess a valid driver's license.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform thermographic inspections of energized electrical switchgear, distribution systems, and other electrical assets at customer sites.
  • Conduct ultrasonic measurements and visual condition assessments to identify potential failure modes.
  • Work safely around energized electrical equipment and adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Collect, analyze, and document inspection data into professional reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Organize and coordinate business travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful inspection execution.
  • Travel extensively to customer facilities across Poland, the European Union, and occasionally other international locations (approximately 75% travel).

Krav

  • Good command of English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Technical aptitude and basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to electrical safety.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, organize travel, and perform work in industrial environments.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Practical knowledge of LV electrical equipment is an advantage.
  • Experience in thermography, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or other diagnostic techniques is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work at height, in confined spaces, and on short notice.
