I korthet

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer/Pipe Fitter to install, service, and repair customer equipment, focusing on air compressors and pipework. This full-time, on-site role requires a technical background, customer focus, and a valid UK driving licence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Installing, servicing, and repairing air compressors, pipework, and related equipment.
  • Following manufacturer guidelines, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs using appropriate tools and technical knowledge.
  • Communicating clearly with customers about work carried out, issues identified, and recommendations.
  • Demonstrating equipment operation where required.
  • Coordinating jobs and resolving technical issues with Field Service Supervisor, Service Administrator, and Lead Engineer.
  • Keeping accurate service records and identifying parts required for repairs.
  • Feeding back customer insights and suggestions to help improve products and services.
  • Keeping up to date with technical bulletins and engineering updates.

Krav

  • Experience in a service engineering or technical environment.
  • A relevant technical qualification or practical experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to organise workload and manage time effectively.
  • A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel).
  • Commercial awareness and confidence discussing technical matters.
