Alfa Laval is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, to provide high-quality field service support for equipment like high-speed separators and heat exchangers. The role involves installation, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting of electrical/PLC controls, and preparing service reports, requiring a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, repair activities, audits, developing solutions, fault finding, repairs and maintenance of products such as high-speed separators (HSS) & decanters used in various process industries and plate heat exchangers.
  • Troubleshoot Electrical / PLC controls (EPC controls, 2 touch, basic & Plus controls), and train customer crew on Alfa Laval equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services.
  • Execute Audits and maintenance activities related to Service Agreements.
  • Prepare service reports, document every visit, and minute all observations, recommendations and commitments with the customer.
  • Adhere to all company safety (QHSE) policies, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Effectively use AL system tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near miss app (MEA Aleart), E-Learning portal, Workday, Sensei IB).
  • Generate service business Leads by effectively using the FSE Lead app.
  • Report Near Miss using the HSE digital platform (MEA Aleart).
  • Submit Service reports, Expense report and payroll, customer signed timesheet service reports in a timely manner.
  • Support Sales functions in technical solutions and participate in technical forums.

Krav

  • Engineering background / Electrical / Automation/ Mechanical with hands on experience (Electrical background will be preferred).
  • Minimum 2-5 years field service experience in Electrical / Mechanical equipment, heat exchangers, decanters, high speed separators and associated equipment.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Holds a valid driving license, preference will be given to candidates holding a Saudi Arabian or GCC driving license.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Process control instrumentation, understanding of software programmed and industrial networking experience and knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Field service experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC, preference will be given.
  • Good knowledge & practical skills in Microsoft office packages and digital reporting.
  • Good communication & negotiation skills. Express verbal and written ideas effectively to all levels of people.
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships with colleagues and maintains a strong customer focus.
  • A role model in open and transparent communication, actively sharing knowledge with peers and demonstrating a continuous learning mindset.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently.
