This role involves executing maintenance, repairs, and providing technical support for standard products at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma with 3-5 years of relevant experience in areas like rotating equipment, heat transfer, or fluid handling.
Ansvarsområden
- Execute maintenance and repairs on standard products at customer sites.
- Provide technical support, including commissioning, installation, testing, repairing, and maintaining products, modules, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with deep application and product knowledge.
- Undertake field service jobs locally and in other locations.
- Communicate product-related changes and technical upgrades to customers.
- Train customers on product and equipment operation.
- Prepare technical reports with observations and recommendations, obtaining customer signatures.
- Follow up on actions and promises made to customers.
- Report unsafe practices, incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Capture installed base information on-site and communicate sales opportunities.
- Provide proactive service advice.
- Update technical knowledge on products and applications regularly.
- Utilize Alfa Laval soft tools and reporting systems effectively.
- Explore business development and new service opportunities.
- Identify upgrade opportunities at customer sites and communicate them to the sales team.
- Supervise and oversee service jobs within the scope of expertise.
Krav
- B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, heat transfer, or fluid equipment.
- Knowledge of good mechanical maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience on field instruments.
- Good communication skills.
