Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their Yorkshire-based team. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting technical equipment at customer sites, requiring strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills and excellent customer communication. The position is full-time and on-site, with a commitment to safety and continuous learning.

Ansvarsområden

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
  • Work closely with customers and contractors on-site.
  • Coordinate with the service team to plan and deliver service visits.
  • Participate in an on-call rota.
  • Provide technical advice, support, and training to customers.
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
  • Stay updated on product developments and industry standards.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers and apprentices.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.

Krav

  • Strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, with a willingness to continue learning.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively in a hands-on environment.
  • Confidence in communicating with customers and building positive working relationships.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage time across multiple jobs.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to working safely and following company and site procedures.
  • Attention to detail when completing service reports and documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
