Edwards is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Crolles, France, to provide on-site service, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their products. The role requires strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety and service level agreements.

Ansvarsområden

  • Independently conduct installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products.
  • Achieve a first-time fix rate (FTFR) of over 95% and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Select, maintain, and use product and field service operational information.
  • Utilize Edwards processes, systems (SMA), and people network.
  • Undertake software setup, operation, maintenance, and basic analytics.
  • Conduct basic fault-finding and troubleshooting support within agreed SLAs.
  • Demonstrate situational risk awareness for Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices.
  • Learn and develop knowledge and skills as a Field Service Engineer, advancing to complex product ranges.
  • Provide detailed and accurate feedback on field service activities and compile reports.
  • Accurately capture service-related information using Edwards processes and operating platforms.
  • Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems.
  • Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Perform installations and ensure safety compliance.
  • Document all activities.
  • Act as the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

  • Previous field service experience in a relevant or related industry.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Self-directed with the ability to understand and resolve problems.
  • Proactively seeks feedback.
  • Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A basic command of written and spoken English is required.
