Atlas Copco is seeking a Facility Support & SHE Coordinator to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations in Shakopee, MN. Responsibilities include facility maintenance, safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and training coordination. This role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate facility maintenance activities and manage consumables.
  • Support production by coordinating maintenance with Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Perform daily transportation of work-in-process materials to local suppliers.
  • Manage contractor activities, including permits, oversight, and quotes.
  • Coordinate annual inspections and maintenance for cranes, forklifts, and equipment.
  • Maintain documentation for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Assist with internal and external SHE audits and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory requirements (OSHA, RCEs, environmental).
  • Participate in risk assessments, corrective action tracking, and SHE committee initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and accidents, supporting corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, ladders, AEDs, first aid kits, eyewash stations, and environmental compliance areas.
  • Coordinate required safety training programs (Forklift, LOTO, Electrical Safety, Fire Extinguisher, OSHA).
  • Maintain employee training records and certifications.
  • Deliver periodic safety and compliance training sessions.
  • Gather and maintain SHE metrics and KPI data.
  • Support local and divisional reporting requirements.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for safety, environmental performance, and facility operations.

Krav

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting safety, environmental, facilities, or compliance activities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with facility management and maintenance coordination.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Familiarity with Power BI.
