AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Facility Operations Center Engineer in Mumbai, India to ensure the availability and reliability of global data center infrastructure. This role involves supporting the onsite team, contributing to outage analysis, and developing tools to enhance team performance.
Ansvarsområden
- Monitor the global data center Amazon facilities infrastructure platform in India.
- Serve as a Point of Contact for internal and external teams.
- Assist with the development of communication and escalation protocols designed to improve team performance.
- Contribute to outage post mortem analysis.
- Ensure records are updated in a timely manner.
- Assist with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts.
- Assist with the development of tools that will enhance team performance.
- Support a 24x7 environment in India, which may require working weekends and holidays.
Krav
- 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience.
- Experience in data center engineering or operations.
- Experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities.
- Ability to think outside of the box and align Facility Operations Center with larger objectives of business and peer organizations.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (e.g., hospital, military facility, public safety facility) experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of facilities management experience.
- Knowledge of mission critical systems (data centers, hospitals, power plants, military facilities, etc.).
