Alfa Laval is seeking an Export Control & Trade Compliance Super User to ensure adherence to global export control policies, laws, and trade sanctions. This role involves screening entities, managing compliance procedures, and providing advisory services on customs and trade benefits.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform export control screening of people, products, companies, vessels, and organizations.
  • Mandatorily screen customers before registration in the customer master during quotation or order booking.
  • Utilize systems like MIRS and Worldcheck One for screening and highlighting perceived risks.
  • Liaise with the Global Export Control team to maintain updated lists and due diligence procedures.
  • Fetch Risk Compliance Bureau reports for suspected entities when required.
  • Train Sales/Inside Sales teams and stakeholders on Export Control procedures.
  • Release export control cleared customers in OneCRM and ERP for daily operations.
  • Provide advisory services on Letter of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantee (BG).
  • Optimize trade benefit schemes, duty, and tax saving programs.
  • Provide custom and regulatory documentation advisory for complex shipments.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customs procedures across ASEAN countries and Incoterms.

Krav

  • Degree/master’s degree in international business or certification in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of total working experience, primarily in export control and trade compliance roles.
  • Ability to manage pressure situations professionally without compromising independence.
  • High level of risk awareness and judgment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence them effectively without direct authority.
