I korthet

Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset is seeking experienced international healthcare IT experts, doers, and leaders to strengthen their 'CDR catalyst' integration and AI context initiative. These project-based positions can be performed mostly remotely but require occasional travel to Stockholm. The roles focus on coordinating technical delivery, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and driving innovation in healthcare IT using AI and advanced data standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate all stages of the CDR Catalyst initiative by aligning technical delivery, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build a project culture that combines rigorous semantic and architectural thinking with pragmatic, iterative progress and deliveries.
  • Direct the initiative to ensure clinical teams and researchers can use resulting systems, tools, and data within reasonable time.
  • Coordinate collaboration within the international core CDR Catalyst doer/builder/architect/informatics team and facilitate collaboration with other teams.
  • Coordinate and help recruit/adjust the CDR Catalyst international strategic advisory board.
  • Assist in leading or assisting other initiatives at the hospital and in the region when the CDR catalyst initiative does not need full attention.

Krav

  • Experienced in talking directly to clinical stakeholders, researchers, developers, architects and hospital/regional management.
  • Experienced in leading teams of experts, getting them to jointly deliver value needed by stakeholders (including end users).
  • At least three years of verifiable experience leading health IT projects, preferably also complex ones.
  • Senior clinical modeling experts and integration experts experienced in combinations of openEHR, FHIR, OMOP, SNOMED CT, ontologies, terminology binding etc.
  • Technological realization – smart doers/builders/toolmakers and AI expertise experienced in electronic health data, and/or “third AI-wave” combinations like neuro-symbolic solutions.
  • Semantic framework (knowledge graph etc.) strategist with deep openEHR and ontology-knowledge.
  • Ability to travel to Stockholm some times per year and spend some consecutive days here.
  • Possibility to join remote meetings during some part of Swedish business hours 1-2 times a week.
  • Working proficiency in Swedish and English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Verifiable long experience, educations and courses in health IT technologies/standards and related leadership.
  • Existing provable deep multi-year engagement in health-IT standardization organizations, research and practical use.
  • Experience in disciplined efficient use of AI-agents for creating and maintaining software and other information assets.
  • Experience in setting up work in control loops with verification etc. so that delegation is safe and the balance between HTIL and automation is continuously being optimized.
  • For Senior clinical modeling experts, experience in openEHR, terminology binding using SNOMED CT etc.
