The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for supporting and promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This position develops, implements, and monitors EH&S programs, ensures compliance with regulations, investigates incidents, conducts training, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs and policies.
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Lead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
Track and analyze safety performance metrics.
Assist with emergency response planning and coordination.
Develop and deliver EH&S training programs.
Maintain environmental permits, reports, and documentation.
Support waste reduction, pollution prevention, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
Coordinate hazardous waste management activities.
Maintain EH&S records, reports, permits, and regulatory documentation.
Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to site leadership.
Ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive actions.
Lead or support projects focused on hazard reduction, ergonomic improvements, energy conservation, and environmental sustainability.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental management principles.
Communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels.
Solid problem-solving and root-cause analysis capability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
OSHA 30-hour certification
First Aid/CPR certification
Ability to stand, bend, climb, and inspect equipment and work areas.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Önskade kvalifikationer

3-5 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing, industrial distribution or similar environment preferred.
Experience with EH&S management systems preferred.
