Atlas Copco is looking for an Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Process Management in Pune, India, to manage Service BOM and Service Kit structures for products and acquisitions. The role involves defining, creating, and maintaining service readiness throughout the product lifecycle. This hybrid position requires an engineering degree with relevant experience and strong analytical and coordination skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with Technical Support and Product companies to define service strategies into service BOMs and Service kits.
  • Define service parts, maintenance kits, recommended spare parts and service alternatives.
  • Collect legacy spare‑part and BOM data from acquired companies.
  • Identify and validate serviceable spare parts with Engineering and Service teams.
  • Check duplicates and harmonize parts with existing company standards.
  • Coordinate the Spare Part Proposal process, following up with Pricing, Purchasing and Logistics.
  • Convert approved SPP into SBOM and Service Kit.
  • Create, review and release Service BOMs based on Engineering BOMs.
  • Perform EBOM vs SBOM consistency checks.
  • Validate spare part selections, define alternates, add service-specific parts and kits.
  • Manage supersessions in Service BOMs and handle obsolete parts.
  • Execute part release activities as per PLM and quality processes.
  • Support acquisition projects by evaluating existing spare part structures and identifying gaps.
  • Coordinate and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and Quality teams.
  • Resolve part, BOM, and release issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to part release and SPP status.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality and documentation standards.

Krav

  • Understanding of manufacturing, service, and aftermarket part structure.
  • Knowledge of SPP, SBOM, PLM, SAP, Service kits would be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of compressor technique business processes.
  • Product Knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Strong coordination, analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong process adherence with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools like POWER BI.
  • Ownership mindset and collaborative team player.
  • Engineering degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience required.
