I korthet

As an Engineering Manager for Cloud SAP at Google, you will lead engineering teams in developing and expanding Google Cloud's SAP portfolio. You will provide technical leadership, manage engineers across multiple disciplines, and drive innovation in areas like generative AI and agentic systems, ensuring Google Cloud is the premier platform for SAP applications.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build and extend the Google Cloud SAP portfolio of solutions and tooling.
  • Work on generative AI efforts, including building common agentic infrastructure.
  • Provide architecture guidance and lead roadmap execution in a dynamic environment.
  • Partner with technical leadership to define shared paths balancing short and long-term needs.
  • Manage software engineers, test engineers, ABAP developers, and SAP architects.
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and end-to-end validation of SAP workloads on GCP.
  • Be responsible for career development and performance management.
  • Maintain an open team culture.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development, data structures, and algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in people management or team leadership.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and agentic systems.
  • Experience with enterprise architectures.
  • Experience with cloud native deployments and services, virtualization, micro-services, and infrastructure as code.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, Salt).
  • Experience with functional operations of server, storage, and network functions.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, high performance, distributed systems.
  • Experience with enterprise approaches for business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup and restore.
