Emerson is looking for an Engineering Management Co-Op to lead a small engineering project or sub-workstream, coordinating across mechanical, electrical, and firmware disciplines. Responsibilities include supporting project execution, tracking schedules, identifying risks, and presenting updates to leadership. This role requires enrollment in an engineering degree program and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead a small, well-scoped engineering project or a sub-workstream within a larger program.
  • Coordinate across disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, & Firmware.
  • Support project execution activities, including planning, task breakdown, schedule tracking, status reporting, and risk identification/mitigation.
  • Drive team alignment and communication by facilitating stand-ups or team reviews, and tracking action items.
  • Contribute to engineering deliverables in your area of expertise.
  • Apply structured processes such as requirements, traceability, and quality practices.
  • Present project updates and outcomes to leadership.

Krav

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
