YouTube is seeking an Engineering Analyst for its Trust and Safety team in Hyderabad. This role involves analyzing large-scale data, identifying trends, managing projects, and developing strategies to combat online abuse and ensure user safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, experience in data analysis and project management, and familiarity with programming languages and machine learning systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform fraud and spam investigations using various data sources.
  • Identify product vulnerabilities and drive anti-abuse experiments to prevent abuse.
  • Work with engineers and interact cross-functionally with stakeholders to improve workflows via process improvements, automation and anti-abuse system creation.
  • Design and refine prompts for LLMs to improve their accuracy in identifying and classifying abusive content and behavior.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to large complex datasets to understand the impact of abuse to the YouTube ecosystem.
  • Contribute strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.
  • Learn complex and technical concepts and systems and deliver meaningful results using them.
  • Communicate highly technical results and methods.
  • Maintain, foster and promote quality by providing regular feedback metrics to the Global team.
  • Manage technological solutions for streamlining quality assurance and produce scalable training solutions to emergent workflows.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • May require on-call work at weekends on a rotational basis.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • 2 years of experience or familiarity with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
  • 2 years of experience or familiarity with machine learning systems.
  • Experience creating opportunities to innovate, conceptualize and complete while working with global teams.
  • Experience collecting, managing and synthesizing large datasets and information from disparate sources, statistical modeling, data mining and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
