Qualcomm seeks an AI SW Product Release Manager to ensure the successful delivery of their AI inference engine SDK. This role involves release planning, cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and process optimization to drive efficient software releases for billions of mobile devices.
Ansvarsområden
- Work closely with product leads, development & QA teams to plan and schedule SDK releases.
- Coordinate release activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with product leads, development, and testing teams to ensure smooth execution of SDK releases.
- Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact release schedules and communicate them with product leads and other stakeholders.
- Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and track release progress, addressing any deviations promptly.
- Oversee the deployment of SDK releases, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Communicate release status, updates, and any critical information to relevant teams.
- Maintain clear documentation related to each release.
- Continuously improve processes, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Explore opportunities for automation and streamlined workflows.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage releases effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Krav
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Release Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams including scrum or Kanban based delivery activities.
- Experience of leadership of team delivering software development
- Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Prior development skills in C++, Python environments and well versed in version control tools like git and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience & understanding of embedded systems SW development or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)
- Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Understanding of Deep Learning fundamentals and knowledge of AI technologies and SDK development is a plus.
