Qualcomm is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software for cutting-edge products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires strong programming skills and experience in technical leadership.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, create, modify, and validate critical embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize sophisticated software.
  • Design and implement software sub-systems for complex, large-scale products and systems.
  • Lead design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure project completion according to specifications and schedules.
  • Perform code reviews, regression tests, and triage/fix issues.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers to design solutions.
  • Write detailed technical documentation for complex software projects and review documentation for junior engineers.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • 12+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Database Management Software.
  • 3+ years of experience with API.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.
