Qualcomm is looking for a Staff Engineer to join their team working on next-generation smart devices. Responsibilities include developing and integrating platform software, supporting platform bring-up, debugging complex issues, and contributing to automation initiatives.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop and integrate platform software across Linux/Android, firmware, middleware, and subsystem interfaces.
- Support platform bring-up, feature enablement, and software readiness for new silicon programs.
- Debug and resolve complex issues spanning hardware, firmware, kernel, middleware, and applications.
- Analyze and optimize system behavior across power, performance, memory, thermal, and reliability dimensions.
- Diagnose issues involving CPU, DSP, GPU, memory, storage, clocks, regulators, and connectivity subsystems.
- Drive customer issue investigations and product defect resolution.
- Contribute to automation, observability, and engineering productivity initiatives.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Expertise in embedded software development, system integration, Linux, Android, and RTOS platforms.
- Experience with multimedia and/or connectivity technologies.
- Exceptional analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of solving complex system-level problems.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new domains, operate effectively in ambiguous environments, and drive complex technical problems to successful outcomes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
