Qualcomm is seeking a Sensor Test Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to test sensors, sensor features, and context exchange for Qualcomm products. The role involves hands-on testing, verification, calibration, developing test automation frameworks in C# and Python, and debugging embedded systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Testing Qualcomm Sensing Hub features for Qualcomm products, including test planning, development, and execution.
  • Developing test automation modules for the sensor automation framework using C# and Python.
  • Developing embedded test applications, automation frameworks, test tools, and automated test cases.
  • Verification and calibration of sensors in embedded hardware.
  • Testing communication and information sharing between devices embedding Qualcomm Sensing Hub.
  • Automating and maintaining test cases.
  • Triaging and isolating issues, and driving their resolution across teams.
  • Supporting test, software development, and system teams in debugging.
  • Interacting within a global team environment.
  • Understanding Qualcomm Sensing Hub SW and HW architectures from HLOS down to sensor driver level.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of work experience with testing embedded systems and developing automated test cases/frameworks.
  • Proficiency in C and/or C++.
  • Prior experience with developing and/or debugging embedded code.
  • Exposure and experience on AI tools and applications.
  • Prior experience with Android application programming.
  • Previous programming experience with Java, Python, etc.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and analytical approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to time-share and prioritize between multiple tasks.
  • Proven team player capable of driving bugs into resolutions across global teams.
  • Excellent understanding of debugging and isolating issues in embedded devices.
  • Basic understanding of different radios (cellular modem, WiFi, Bluetooth, location), audio, and camera features in mobile phones.
  • Familiar with oscilloscope and comfortable working with Qualcomm HW protolab.
  • Good understanding of test methodology and processes.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Previous experience with standard Qualcomm test automation framework and tools (Axiom, QXDM, QDSS, Crashscope, Trace32) and Qualcomm DIAG implementation.
  • Previous exposure to Sensors (inertial, pressure, magnetic, ambient light, proximity, capacitive, physiological) and associated test equipment.
  • Previous testing experience with Linux Embedded, Linux Android and Windows mobile devices.
  • Basic understanding of modem, WiFi, BT, audio, camera and location technologies and related test procedures and equipment.
