Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Senior Staff VLSI Design Engineer in Hod Hasharon, Israel, to work on advanced high-speed chips. Responsibilities include module definition, micro-architecture design and implementation, working with verification and PD teams, and optimizing for low power. A BS/MS in Physics or Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of VLSI design experience is required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Work with the Architecture team on the module’s definition.
  • Design micro-architecture and implement it.
  • Work closely with the verification team.
  • Work closely with the PD team.
  • Optimize the design for the lowest power consumption.
  • Run QA checks like lint checks, CDC checks and GLS.
  • Work with teams abroad.
  • Work on cutting edge technologies and processes.

Krav

  • BS, MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of VLSI design experience.
  • Very good English skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with networking chips is considered an advantage.
  • Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Cooperative and collaborative team player.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
