Engineer / Senior Engineer - Planning

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Inventory Planning & Forecasting – Evaluate and forecast material requirements using software

   systems, Work with buyers and teams to forecast raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory, reset safety stock and ABC classification, and prepare quarterly E&O proposals.

• Coordination: Work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials.

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure alignment with physical stock.

• Issue Resolution: Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, inventory discrepancies, or supplier problems

• Strategy Implementation: Implement strategies for inventory management to prevent shortages and excesses.

• Trend Analysis: Conduct regular reviews of material demand and supply patterns to identify trends and make necessary adjustments

• Performance Tracking – Drive ITO against targets, monitor order modifiers (MOQ, FDS, FLM), and track KPIs to ensure procurement performance stays on course.

• Reporting & Communication – Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for AP management, maintain accurate procurement data, and communicate effectively across teams.

• Continuous Improvement – Review and reset purchase policies periodically, refine inventory strategies, and support operational efficiency through proactive monitoring and adjustments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering Degree with1-3 years years relevant experience
• Knowledge of valve industry
• Good analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department required.
• Familiar with Oracle application of Betsy & Billy.
