Atlas Copco Group is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer for Instrumentation & Controls, specializing in PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. This hybrid role in Vadodara requires 4-9 years of design and programming experience, with a focus on project execution and onsite support.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs from scratch for complex projects.
  • Handle onsite support activities like FAT/SAT/Commissioning for PLC-based control systems.
  • Perform pre-commissioning activities such as loop checking, troubleshooting, and I/O simulation.
  • Understand and create various instrumentation and control system drawings and documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers for technical discussions and document approvals.
  • Innovate ideas to improve the quality of engineering and programming.

Krav

  • Detail or working knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, and Rockwell hardware & PLC/HMI/SCADA programming.
  • PLC control system programming experience using IEC 61131.
  • Experience of pre-commissioning activities like loop checking, troubleshooting, simulation of I/Os.
  • Knowledge of field instruments like sensors, transmitters, controllers, and valves.
  • Knowledge and experience of handling/configuration of various communication protocols.
  • Working knowledge on design software AutoCAD Electrical / E-plan and Ms Office Excel.
  • Ability to study customer specifications for selection of control systems.
  • Preparation of work instructions, check lists, standard procedures related to ISO requirements.
  • BE / B Tech / M Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering / Electronics/ E & TC.
  • 4 to 9 years of designing and programming experience in project execution.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • BN 3500/Orbit 60 vibration monitoring system knowledge & programming is an added advantage.
  • Preferred to have working experience with Centrifugal Compressors, Screw compressor, Reciprocating compressors, Dryers, Oxygen/Nitrogen generator.
  • Cyber security related to controls system.
  • Programming knowledge in C, C++, Excel VBA, Python, SQL Server database.
  • Familiarized with version control tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and internationally.
  • Strong personality who can be an active driver.
