Autoliv India is seeking an Engineer – Process Quality for their Badli location. This role focuses on managing shift quality operations, driving zero defect initiatives, and reducing scrap. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in process quality within the automotive or manufacturing sector, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ansvarsområden

Manage end-to-end shift quality operations across A, B and C shifts
Drive DPMU reduction and zero defect initiatives
Analyze quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Monitor and reduce scrap cost through structured improvement activities
Interact with customers during audits and plant visits
Ensure adherence to Autoliv standards and customer requirements
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely deliverables
Support Kaizen implementation and drive shop floor improvements
Prepare and maintain quality data and reports
Ensure 5S implementation and workplace organization
Maintain operator discipline and support single piece flow
Ensure safety compliance across operations

Krav

4–5 years of experience in process quality (automotive/manufacturing)
Experience in handling shift operations and operator management (10–20 team size)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in rejection analysis and countermeasure implementation
Knowledge of DPMU tracking, scrap reduction and quality metrics
Understanding of customer audit requirements and process compliance
Familiarity with Kaizen and continuous improvement practices
