Ericsson is seeking an Engineer- IP in Noida, India, to manage alarm analysis, operation-maintenance, and troubleshooting for IP nodes. The role involves ensuring timely service restoration, resolving customer tickets, and collaborating with field teams, requiring strong knowledge of IP networking protocols and vendor products.

Ansvarsområden

  • Supervising ITSM Ticket queues to maintain MTTR.
  • Identifying root cause of P0/P1/P2/P3/P4 Incidents and recommending resolutions.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for alarm/event/KPI related issues.
  • Collaborating with Field Team for hardware failures and node unreachable issues.
  • Ensuring timely restoration of services and maintaining MTTR.
  • Proactively detecting possible failures.
  • Performing node health checks and backups, troubleshooting deviations.
  • Sharing details for MIR & CSR to respective teams.
  • Handling 3PP/OEM, problem management, data analytics, and customer governance.

Krav

  • Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, Segment Routing.
  • Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
  • Knowledge of IP Security protocols- IPSEC, GRE, VPN, CGNat.
  • Familiarity with CISCO, Spine-leaf Architecture, Border-Leaf Architecture, VX-LAN.
  • Telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G Service Flow & Interfaces).
  • Product/Vendor knowledge on CISCO (mandatory) & Ericsson (preferable).
  • Good Communication & trouble-shooting skills.
  • 8-14 years of relevant experience in IP Domain.
  • Working knowledge of IP products and vendors: CISCO Routers, Cisco Switches, Juniper Routers, Juniper CGNAT, Juniper Switches, RAD-ETX, Huawei-CX Series, Nokia/Alcatel-SAS Series, Firewalls-Checkpoint & Fortinet, Ericsson-BRAS, F5-Load balancer.
