I korthet

We are looking for an entry-level EMC Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering to join our Compliance Engineering team in Austin, TX. This role involves supporting product compliance testing and development activities to meet global electromagnetic compatibility requirements.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct EMC testing to applicable CISPR, IEC, EN, FCC and international standards.
Assist with radiated and conducted emissions testing.
Support immunity testing including ESD, EFT, surge, radiated and conducted immunity.
Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
Support product development teams with compliance risk assessments and design recommendations.
Troubleshoot EMC failures and perform root cause analysis.
Operate EMC laboratory equipment including EMI receivers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, antennas and RF systems.
Support global certification activities.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
0-2 years of engineering experience.
Strong background in analog circuit design, electromagnetics, signals and systems, and electronic measurements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Curious and eager to learn.
Hands-on laboratory mindset.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Effective technical communicator.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Internship, co-op, research, or project experience involving analog electronics, RF, signal integrity, EMC, or power electronics.
Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation.
Exposure to EMC regulations and standards.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
