Autoliv Canada is looking for an Electrician to perform daily maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, diagnosing and resolving equipment failures, and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. A valid Electrician Certificate of Qualification and 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience are required.
Ansvarsområden
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, machinery, automated systems, and plant facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, relays, motor controls, VFDs, conveyors, and other automated manufacturing systems.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and regulatory standards by following lockout/tagout procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Krav
- Valid Electrician Certificate of Qualification (309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician or 442A Industrial Electrician).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, lockout/tagout procedures, preventive maintenance practices, and industrial safety standards.
- Strong technical skills in electrical controls and automation, including PLC troubleshooting, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, hoist cranes, motors, and control systems.
- Working knowledge of industrial facility systems, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems.
- Ability to coordinate and monitor work performed by external contractors and vendors.
