Emerson is offering an Electrical Engineering Co-op position for Summer 2027 in Elyria, OH. This on-site role provides students with meaningful work experience in product development, circuit board design, and testing. The program offers exposure to various engineering areas and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
Learn “C” programming of microcontrollers.
Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.

Krav

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided

Önskade kvalifikationer

Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Ability to return for multiple co-op rotations
Previous work or project experience related to hardware and firmware
Experience with C, C++, and Python
Experience with circuit board design
Sophomore or Junior class status
