I korthet

HID Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern in Krakow, Poland, to assist with the maintenance and development of RFID products. This paid 14-week internship offers hands-on experience in electrical testing, component selection, and troubleshooting within a multinational environment.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct changes in product BOM
Electrical and environmental testing of RFID devices
Writing test reports
Comparing electrical components to qualify as replacement
Participate in troubleshooting for issues with existing products
Development of support tools in form of small PCBs
Preparing reworks
Assembling/soldering support for engineering

Krav

Active student status
Availability to work minimum 20h per week for at least 14 weeks
Good English, both written and spoken

Önskade kvalifikationer

Basic understanding of electronics schematic
Ability to operate test equipment
Background with Microchip & ARM based systems is an advantage
Familiarity with use of common electronic test equipment: Digital Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Soldering gun
VNA, Spectrum analyser is an advantage
Experience with designing PCBs
Ability to use ECAD – preferably Altium
Experience with LTSPICE is an advantage
Ability to solder SMT components
Ability to desolder/solder small BGA devices is an advantage
