Electrolux Group is looking for an Electrical Components Specialist in Żarów, Poland, to join their R&D team. This role involves the technical lead for electronic components, focusing on their development, coordination with global suppliers and cross-functional teams, and supporting design and validation phases for household appliances. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in electrical component development.
Ansvarsområden
- Act as the technical lead for selected electronic components, taking ownership of their development.
- Coordinate activities across stakeholders, including global suppliers, factories, and internal teams.
- Contribute to the design and development of electromechanical components for household appliances (washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers).
- Support all phases from design to validation and industrialization, in line with company standards.
- Analyze and define technical solutions, operating with autonomy.
- Support cost reduction and quality improvement projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components.
- Support urgency cases testing for electrical parts (e.g., part shortage, discontinued part).
- Create engineering drawings of electrical components.
- Ensure electrical safety and conformity testing according to National and International standards (IEC, CE, UL, etc.).
- Conduct functional and reliability tests according to Electrolux test specifications and procedures.
- Provide supplier development and technical support.
- Manage cost reduction projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components.
- Manage quality improvement projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical component development within an R&D environment, preferably in the consumer electronics or home appliance industry.
- Solid knowledge of the design and development of electrical components for household appliances.
- Familiarity with national and international safety and testing standards.
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX).
- Understanding of testing procedures, including environmental, EMC/EMI, performance, and safety testing.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
- Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
