Swedbank is seeking a Model Developer and Analyst to work on Financial Crime Prevention, focusing on Economic Crime Prevention Models and Hybrid Detection. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining models, analyzing risks, and collaborating with skilled teams. Requires experience in AML, Fraud, KYC, Sanctions, machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming languages like R and Python.

Ansvarsområden

  • Explore risks and translate intelligence into recurring controls to improve risk coverage in the bank's control environment.
  • Test, develop, analyse and maintain models within Swedbank's automated monitoring framework for economic crime prevention.
  • Work closely with Financial Crime Risk and Advanced Analytics in a highly skilled team of risk analysts, data analysts, and data scientists.

Krav

  • Self-leadership and the ability to drive change.
  • Experience within the field of AML, Fraud, KYC, Sanctions and automated screening/monitoring.
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
  • Advanced statistical analysis and mathematical modelling capabilities.
  • Experience programming within analytical frameworks (e.g., R and Python) and using SQL, Power BI, Qlik Sense, SAS, and/or VBA.
  • Good understanding of the bank, products, inherent risk, vulnerabilities, threats and potential risk mitigating actions.
  • Proficient in oral and written Swedish as well as English.
  • 3 years experience of working with data science within the field of economic crime prevention.
  • Friendly mindset.
  • Flexible remote - willing to work at site in Sundbyberg/Stockholm.
