Alstom is seeking a full-time E&M Subsystem Engineer in Cairo, EG to manage railway systems integration, technical interfaces, and oversee testing and commissioning activities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in PSD and/or LV systems within railway projects.

Ansvarsområden

Review and evaluate electrical, PSD, and related technical designs, drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
Prepare, review, validate, and manage Interface Control Documents (ICD) between PSD, signaling, rolling stock, and other railway subsystems.
Coordinate Engineering Technical Notes (ETN), technical reports, and justifications to support project requirements and design decisions.
Manage interfaces between PSD, signaling, rolling stock, electrical systems, and other railway systems.
Support and oversee testing and commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and integrated system testing.
Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to engineering teams and junior engineers.
Ensure technical documentation is properly maintained and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in railway/metro and Infrastructure projects.
At least 2 years of experience in Platform Screen Doors (PSD) and/or Low Voltage (LV) systems.
Good knowledge of PSD systems and interfaces with signaling and rolling stock.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS, lighting, and earthing.
Experience in design review, testing, commissioning, and system integration.
Familiarity with railway engineering standards and safety requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lead technical activities and mentor junior engineers.
Good analytical and decision-making skills.
