Amarr is seeking a hands-on Distribution Center Manager in Las Vegas, NV to oversee the profitability and efficient operation of the distribution center. The role involves managing sales, expenses, people, and inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Ansvarsområden

  • Account for daily execution of company-defined program processes.
  • Monitor measurements against budget and key performance metrics.
  • Review cost of operations and enhance profitability.
  • Provide excellent, courteous customer service.
  • Staff, develop, supervise, and direct all personnel.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement efforts.
  • Oversee and verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory.
  • Ensure enforcement of corporate programs regarding safety, security, equipment care, and facility compliance.
  • Effect change to achieve weekly inventory, scrap, and damage goals.

Krav

  • Minimum 3 years of prior warehouse management experience preferred.
  • Experience working with budgets, P&L statements, and logistics.
  • Experience working with external customers in a flow-through warehouse.
  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal skills for sales.
  • Good supervisory, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • College education or related experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Mechanical aptitude/power tools experience.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
  • Good attitude, desire to work hard, and ability to be a self-starter.
