This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters located in Charlotte, NC.
About the Role:
The Product Director – Ranges is a strategic leader responsible for driving the long‑term growth, profitability, and competitive positioning of Electrolux’s freestanding range portfolio. In this role, you will define and execute the business strategy, lead product line planning, and oversee a multi‑year roadmap that aligns consumer needs, competitive insights, and financial objectives. You will collaborate extensively across R&D, sourcing, operations, commercial, and global product organizations to bring winning products to market while ensuring strong execution throughout the product lifecycle. Success requires strong business acumen, cross‑functional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders across a matrixed global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the business leader for the freestanding range category, overseeing short‑, mid‑, and long‑term performance targets and KPIs
Lead and develop a team of direct reports responsible for product line execution and business delivery
Build and maintain deep expertise in global range platforms, configurations, competitive products, and market trends to guide strategic planning and decision‑making
Define the three‑year strategic business plan and product roadmap, including feature levels, platform direction, and generation planning
Partner with R&D, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Commercial Services, and S&OP teams to deliver business cases, cost targets, and operational efficiency
Ensure successful, on‑time product launches supported by financially sound business cases, competitive positioning, and effective phase‑in/phase‑out plans
Collaborate with Product Planning, Innovation, and R&D teams to integrate consumer insights and emerging technologies into innovation priorities and long‑term category leadership
Participate in strategic discussions that impact annual planning, business resourcing, and long‑term financial performance
Build strong cross‑functional relationships across sales, marketing, operations, legal, engineering, and Group Product teams to support product execution and commercial success
Partner with commercial and marketing teams to drive launch readiness, product messaging, and sustained price/mix/volume performance
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in product management, product development, or commercial leadership
Proven track record of managing and growing a business within consumer durables or a related industry
Strong knowledge of merchandising, financial analysis, cost accounting, and sales dynamics within retail and homebuilder channels
Experience with global sourcing, finished goods manufacturing, product planning, generation planning, pricing analysis, and risk management
Demonstrated experience leading successful product launches and executing end‑to‑end commercial strategies
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
Solid understanding of product development processes, marketing, operations/supply chain, and brand management
Strong negotiation capabilities with both internal and external partners
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial accountability
Ability to influence effectively in a global matrixed organization and lead teams to achieve product line goals
