Arla is looking for an experienced Director and Head of IT & Digital Platforms to lead the digital foundation of their global enterprise. This senior leadership role, based in Gdansk, Poland, will define the strategy, operating model, and investment direction for enterprise platforms, enabling product teams to deliver value. You will lead a global organization, drive technology transformation, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Ansvarsområden
- Define the Platform Strategy and execute the strategic roadmap for Arla's shared technology platforms.
- Lead Enterprise Technology Transformation, balancing innovation, resilience, security, and operational excellence.
- Enable High-Performing Product Teams by ensuring access to scalable, reusable, and modern technology capabilities.
- Build and Inspire Exceptional Teams by developing senior managers and technology leaders in a highly capable international organization.
- Act as the IT Leadership team representative in the Gdansk hub and ensure people engagement.
- Oversee platforms, technologies, and engineering capabilities underpinning Arla's digital ecosystem.
- Lead a global organization of approximately 50 internal people.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, empowerment, innovation, continuous improvement, talent development, leadership growth, and engineering excellence.
Krav
- Significant leadership experience within enterprise technology, digital platforms, software engineering, cloud, data, or technology enablement.
- Proven success leading large-scale global technology organizations.
- Experience establishing and scaling platform operating models managed as a service.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology investments and platform capabilities that create measurable business value.
- Track record of driving enterprise-wide business and technology transformation.
- Strategic thinker who sets clear direction.
- Experienced leader of leaders who builds trust and partnerships.
- Passionate about developing people and future leaders.
- Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Focused on delivering measurable business value through technology.

- Experience with Data Foundation, Analytics and AI Platforms.
- Experience with Developer and Enterprise Enablement.
- Experience with Identity, Access and Security Enablement.
- Experience with Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
- Collaboration across business and technology domains, including Product Teams, Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and strategic partners.
