In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage an assigned territory using digital tools to engage remotely with existing and prospective customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate Measurement solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through digital prospecting, expanding Emerson’s presence across targeted industry segments
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to execute focused campaigns, introducing new products and solutions to both new and existing customers
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the Measurement portfolio to clearly communicate value propositions and differentiators
  • Demonstrate persistence and resilience in progressing opportunities, addressing customer questions, and advancing sales cycles
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and a high standard of service
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored and impactful customer solutions
  • Support pricing strategies by effectively positioning solutions to reflect customer value while achieving business objectives
  • Use CRM systems and digital sales tools to track activities, manage pipelines, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Share insights on customer needs, campaign effectiveness, and market trends with the broader team

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Understanding of industrial automation, instrumentation, or related technical fields
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Self-motivation and drive to meet and exceed goals
  • Proficiency using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience in digital or remote sales within technical or industrial environments
  • Comfort using digital prospecting and intelligence platforms to identify opportunities
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, in virtual settings
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI) is an advantage

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total compensation range for this role is 44.000 to 81.600 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. 

For roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the applicable salary range and pay structure are set by that agreement, including how pay levels and progression are defined (Contratto Commercio - Manageritalia).
