Ericsson is seeking a customer-focused DevOps Engineer in Kolkata, India, to drive digital transformation using automation and cloud-native technologies. The role involves maintaining technical documentation, engaging with customers, and leading technical discussions. Strong expertise in scripting, automation tools, container platforms, and Linux environments is required.

Ansvarsområden

Design, create, and maintain technical documentation, MOPs, and runbooks.
Engage independently with customers and stakeholders.
Lead technical discussions and drive delivery outcomes across multiple projects and environments.

Krav

Strong Shell scripting (Bash) and Python
Hands-on experience with Ansible, YAML, and JSON
GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and Gerrit or similar code review tools
Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
Working knowledge of Linux environments
Monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
Agile/Scrum delivery experience
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
Analytical problem-solving and an ownership mindset

Önskade kvalifikationer

OpenShift is a plus
Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP
Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow (preferred)
Telecom domain knowledge
GitOps tools (ArgoCD or FluxCD)
Kibana or ELK Stack
VMware, OpenStack, or virtualized infrastructure experience
Ability to mentor junior engineers and work in global teams
