Ericsson is looking for a Development Manager in Bangalore to lead cross-functional teams of design and test engineers. The role requires strong leadership, people management, and a genuine interest in mentoring and coaching a developing workforce, with a focus on Agile and Lean principles.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead a set of cross-functional teams comprising design and test engineers.
  • Build and grow cross-functional teams towards end-to-end product capabilities.
  • Mentor and coach team members to realize their maximum potential.
  • Maintain the fine balance of solving day-to-day problems while also escalating issues when needed.
  • Engage with and represent the team in discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Drive and deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Bring in product innovations of significant business value.

Krav

  • ~15 years of overall Core network product development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a people manager role.
  • Strong result orientation.
  • Experience of working in a leadership team.
  • Genuine interest in people and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in line with Ericsson core values.
  • Interest and good understanding of R&D and the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working.
  • Large degree of flexibility and willingness to change and take on different tasks.
  • Business and customer focused with high accountability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work effectively and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid work ethic, customer focus, team player with passion for delivering world-class solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • B.Tech degree in CS/EC/EE or related studies.
  • Prior experience in network function and Cloud Native evolution is a pre-requisite.
